Welcome to PloneChix
Here are a few things we feel you should know about PloneChix:
- Be nice. This is a group based on friendliness and tolerance. We welcome *all* people who agree with our purpose. Remember, we're not a girls only club; we are a group that supports women involved with Plone at ANY level: documenters, users, managers, developers, integrators, whatever - you are all welcome.
- Participation is as little or as much as you would like/have time for/whatever,.
- We've worked hard on our purpose and goals for PloneChix. We strongly encourage you to read them.
- You can find us just about anywhere you want to bw:
- We have a group blog at http://plonechix.blogspot.com/. If you would like to add your blog feed to the list, please dm @eleddy. You don't have to blog but we encourage it!
- IRC chat room on freenode at #plonechix.
- On facebook with a group called Plone Chix; feel free to add yourself!

Yes, we actually have a reason for existing beyond the whole "it's awesome to have a bunch of female Plonistas hang out" thing. We mean it too! There is also a nice post explaining what plonechix is and is not - check it out for some ooey gooey tastiness.
Unlike every other *perfect* page in this wiki (cough) this is still under development. Mostly because we need your help! What do you want PloneChix to do this year? What? I can't hear you... Speak up!
Even if you don't have time to contribute, please take a moment and introduce yourself. We need a way to keep a pulse on the community and see how many women are actually out there. Hopefully this list grows as time goes on!
T-shirts! Get your t-shirts here! We also have... well that's it for now. Support PloneChix and the women of Plone by sporting our super soft "there's no place like plone" tees. Get one and send in your action shots ThinkGeek style and we'll put you in our 2011 Plone hot-or-not calendar! Just kidding... But we will put your beautiful faces on this website and in our yet to be developed plonify widget (think cornify, but bad ass ploners instead of unicorns).
Got a bad client you want to pawn off on someone else? Looking for a plone ninja? Help a sista out by posting it here. Or not. Jerk.
